If a vector is parallel to another vector then,

Let A and B be two vectors.

If A is parallel to B

Then A will be K times B
Here K is a constant.

Let vector A be i+j+k
Let vector B be 2i+2j+2k

Then,
Vector A is 2 times Vector B
Here K is 2.

Hope you get your answer.
