           area of the obtuse triangle is 44 cm2

          base of the obtuse triangle is 8 cm,

 here we need to find the altitude  of the triangle with the given base and area.

             Area  = `1/2` * b * h

                  44 = `1/2` * 8 * h

                  44 = `1/2 ` * 8 * h

            44 * 2 = 8 * h

                    h = ` (88)/8` = 11 cm

Anonymous: If the altitude is drawn to the hypotenuse of a right triangle, each leg of the right triangle is the geometric mean of the hypotenuse and the segment of the hypotenuse adjacent to the leg.
Anonymous: use pythagorus theorem to find the height of acute angled triangle

Anonymous: a^2+b^2=c^2 , where a= height , b= base , c=area
