how to find area from diameter (given)

hey...if it is a circle then firstly divide diameter by 2 ..Nd u get its radius .... and area of circle= πr^2....by this u can get ...

Hey friend!!

To find the Area Of Circle when the  Diameter is given then you can do 2 methods:

1) You can divide the diameter by 2 and then substitute that answer in this formula: Area of Circle=  \pi r ^{2 
Where you should put your answer in the place of r.


2) You can directly substitute your diameter in this formula:
Area of Circle=  \frac{1}{4}  \pi  d^{2}

And you will Get both the answers equally same!
