How to find degree of quotient, q(x) and remainder, r(x) when degree of dividend, f(x) = 3 and degree of divisor, g(x) = 2. Find q(x) and r(x).

Tell how to find and answer too please!

as we know
f(x)=g(x)×q(x)+r(x)
if deg of f(x)=3
and deg of g(x)=2
:. deg of q(x) must be 1 so that g(x)×q(x)=3 and deg of r(x) can be 0
but less than deg of q(x)

luciferxixo: since g(x) is the divisor, shouldn't r(x) < g(x)?
luciferxixo: And as you said g(x) x q(x) = 3, how? Is it g(x)+q(x) ??
TrishaPathak: do u know the property dividend= divisor× quotient+remainder
luciferxixo: Yes i do
TrishaPathak: then deg of f(x)=deg(x) +deg r(x)
TrishaPathak: deg f(x) =deg g(x)×deg q(x) +r(x)
