how to find difference between in word problems that we have to find hcf or lcm like if asked greatest no. it is hcf....
please give me tips for class 10th hcf and lcm word problems​

I use the trick that lcm is always greater than the numbers and hcf is always smaller than the numbers

and whenever number of stacks , no of rooms , number of rows is needed we find hcf and whenever distance sums r asked we use lcm
