Use position of sunset or sunrise .
Sunrise means East
Sunset means West.

U can use map to find out direction. Also u can notice tge rising and setting of sun to locate the east and west directions

When u get the east and west direction easily u can get the north and south right???
If west is in the left hand side then automatically north will be in the front direction and south will be in the backward direction and vice versa
