if only one value is given we can find distance only when two sides of right angle triangle are same
then if we assume equal side as 'a '
then a^2+a^2=-hpoteneus ^2
then if we assume equal side as 'a '
then a^2+a^2=-hpoteneus ^2

Pythagorean theorem, the well-known geometric theorem that the sum of the squares on the legs of a right triangle is equal to the square on the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle)βor, in familiar algebraic notation, a2 + b2 = c2.
