how to find Highest Common Factor?

By finding the factors of numbers and in factors we want to choose lowest exponential.
We can use the long division method to find out the HCF.

To find HOW. HCF of any two nos.
1) Take out the factors of one number,
2)Then take out the factors of second number,
3)Then compare the factors of both the numbers and then multiply the common factors. For eg. HCF of 2,6 is 2
