TAKE THE NUMBER YOU HAVE TO DIVIDE MULTIPLY IT WITH PERCENT YOU WANT TO FIND AND DIVIDE IT BY 100.
Example:Find the 50% percent of 100
Answer :100*50/100=50
Eample:Find 45% percent of 100
Answer:100/45*100=45
Example:Find the 50% percent of 100
Answer :100*50/100=50

Suppose u have ₹500 and then 30% of it is used in buying stuffs, then find out the money used till now ........ so it will be solved as follows ===============>>> 30% of 500 = 30/100*500 = 150, this means ₹150 are used........ This is how % is calculated of a specific no. or amount................... And if u want to calculate the % of ur marks then add them and divide them by the total marks whole multiplied with 100.............. For eg. Marks in 3 sub. out of 20 are ===> 15,18,12 so its % will be ====>> 15+18+12/3*100 = 45/60*100 = 9/12*100 = 0.75 *100 = 75% .....
