by Pythagoras theorem,
a²+b²=c²
10²+24²=c²
100+576=c²
676=c²
√676=c
26=c
therefore the hypotenuse is 26m

For finding any side of a right angle triangle we use the pythagoras theorem..
by the pythagoras theorem,
(10)^2+(24)^2=(hypotenuse)^2
100+576=(hypotenuse)^2
676=(hypotenuse)^2
hypotenuse=√676
=26
