Mate the formula which u had applied is wrong...

when their is even term then the formula is

medain =  (\frac{n}{2} )

so according to this the Answer will be

medain =  \frac{6}{2}  \\ so  \\ \: medain = 3

therefore the answer os 0

Here, the given data is

-3, - 2, 0, 2, 2, 4

And we have to find the median of this data. Median is the middle most term of a data series.

To do so, we first need to arrange the data in ascending or descending order. But, here, the data is already arranged in ascending order.

Here the number of terms (n) is 6. This means n is even.

Thus, median is equal to (n+1)/2 th term in the series.

(6+1)/2 = 7/2 = average of 3 rd and 4 th term that is (0+2)/2 = 2/2 = 1.

Hence median of the above data is 1.
