median formula= L+[(n/2-c.f)/f]×h
it is the formula for grouped data
here data arranged in proper way means with class intervals and also with cumalative feequency.Here after arranging we have to find median class by a measure of n/2(the c.f value of class exceeds this value for the first is the median class)
where L= liwer boundary of median class
n =no.of.observations
c.f= cumalative frequency preceding the median class
f = frequency of median class
h= class size
hope it helps.......
