1/ First find out c. F by adding of frequency
2/ Use median formula i. e M=n+1/2 or if there is continuous serious use M=n/2
3/Now see the c. f and find where median lies for e. G median is 50 and it will be lies in c. f of 40-55 then it means 55 is c. f and its straight value i. E x is median
But in case of continuous series c. f is 40 and the value next in frequency is frequency i. e f
4/ And the value straight then frequency in X is lower limit for e. g 40-50 is class interval and 40 will be lower limit..
5// Now put all values in formuala
M=lower limit +(n/2-c.f)/f*i
i= difference in class intervals..
Hope you like it.
