case 1-

If b^2-4ac>0 then the roots are real and distinct

case 2-

If b^2-4ac=0 the two roots are real and equal

case 3-

b^2-4ac<0 then the roots of equation ate imaginary

You can find roots of a quadratic equation by 3 methods:-
1.By Factorization method or we can say splitting the middle term method.

2.By Completing the square method.

3.or By using Quadratic Formula that is:-
x=-b+_root b2-4ac/2a.
