2 cl atoms
hence we can say no of atoms present - 3 ( 1+2)

To find number of atom when a formula is given just count the no. of atoms from the formula.
For e.g-H₂O is given as the formula & you have to find the no. of atoms, then the no. of atoms= 2+1=3 [2 atoms of hydrogen(H) & 1 atom of oxygen(O)]
So, the answer is 3 in this case.
