And, AB = 12 cm.
Now, OBM is a right angled triangle.
Again, we know that a perpendicular on a chord from the centre divides it into 2 equal parts.
Thus. AM = 6 cm.
Now ,using pythagoreas theorem,
OB^2 = AM^2 + OM^2
=> OB^2 = 6^2 + 8^2 = 36 + 64 = 100.
=> OB = 10.
➡️ Hence, the length of OB is 10 cm.
