How to find out the force required to move an object?

║⊕ANSWER⊕║

The force (F) required to move an object of mass (m) with an acceleration (a)

It is given by the formula F = m x a.

So, force = mass multiplied by acceleration.

EXAMPLE

Consider an object of mass 5 kg moving with an acceleration of 3 meters per second square. Calculate the force required to move.

Solution :-

Force = mass * acceleration

          = 5 * 3

          = 15 N

(N represents newton, which is the SI unit of force)
