How to find out the number of factors for the particular number by using LCM method...... Please explain in detail......

Let the Number be 84

Divide 84 by 2

Then, 84 = 42*2
Divide 42 by 2

Then 84 = 21*2*2
        
Similarly Divide 21 by 3

       so, 84 = 3*7*2*2*1
        So, 84 has many factors (including 1).
You can use this method to find factors other numbers.
