how to find out the square root of any number

okay so to find the square root u need to learn squares if the no. is a perfect square then u van easily find out sq root but if it is not a perfect square then for eg u need to find sq root of 60 then check that which one is last perfect square and 49 is last perfect sq. then 64 is next perfect sq then 60-49=11 now sq. root =7. 3..... as before 11 9 is perfect sq. of 3
