First: work out the difference (increase) between the two numbers you are comparing.

Increase = New Number - Original Number.

Then: divide the increase by the original number and multiply the answer by 100.

⊙ Take the number you wanted

⊙ Then divide it by the nos' to which's percentage you wanted.

⊙ Then multiply it with 100


eg :- To find percentage of 60 out of 200


 \frac{60}{200}  \times 100 = 30\%
