How to find perimeter and area of semicircle whose diameter is 14 cm

perimeter πr and area πr^2/2 where r would b 7 cm....

Since, the diameter of the circle (d)=14cm
the radius of the circle (r)=14/2cm=7cm
Since, perimeter of a circle = 2pie ×r unit
So, perimeter of the given circle =2×22/7×7cm
=44cm.


Short way
Perimeter of a circle =pie ×d unit
Perimeter of the given circle =22/7×14cm
=44cm.
