In a chemical equation, the reactants are on the left side of the arrow and the products are on the right side.
Reactants→Products

Examples:

2Na(s) + Cl2(g)→2NaCl(s)

Reactants: Na and Cl2

Product: NaCl

2H2O2→2H2O+O2

Reactant: H2O2

Products: H2O and O2
