We know that between any 2 different rational numbers there lie an infinitely many rational numbers.
To insert n rational numbers between 2 ration no.,we proceed as under:
Case 1:When given rational numbers are having the same denominators multiply the numerator and denominator of each rational no.(n+1).
Case 2:when denominators are different..
*Find the LCM of denominators.
*Change the given rational numbers to equivalent rational nos with LCM as their common denominator.
*If necessary ,multiply the numerator and denominator of each rational no.by (n+1).
