and if numbers are in fraction for example take 5/3 and 6/9 .... for this you have to take same denominator both of the fractions by taking lcm of 3and 9=9then find 8 rational numbers between them = 6.0,6.1,6.2,6.3,6.4,6.5,6.6,6.7
