Remember these squares.
1^2=1
2^2=4
3^2=9
4^2=16
5^2=25
6^2=36
7^2=49
8^2=64
9^2=81
10^2=100
now take an example.
9025
See the last digit. It's 5. 5 will be the last digit for 5^2. Then the last digit of the number will be 5.
Now divide the number in to 2. 90 and 25.
Take 90. The square of the number just below 90 is 81=9^2. So the first digit is 9.
Now the root of 9025 is 95.
