how to find run rate.give answer with an example.......

the run rat can be finded by dividing the number of overs with the total number of runs eg-there are 70 runs in 7 overs so the run rate is 10

To find run rate you must divide the total runs scored by the no of overs at that time.
=> Run rate = Runs/Overs.
Eg:--
"Suppose South africa had scored 300 runs in 30 overs."
To find run rate we must divide 300 by 30.
=> Run rate = 300/30.
= 10 runs/over.
