What is the scientific notation of 0.005?

The Scientific Notation of (0.005) is 5 x 10 to the negative 3 step 1. Move the point past the first whole number (5). step 2. Multiply by 10 as in all scientific notations step 3. Count how many spaces you moved the point,in this you moved it 3 spaces,so it would be a negative 3.
