Answer:

whenever you get a equation like this make y as a subject and the coefficient of x will be the slope....

2x+3y=8

3y=8-2x

y=8/3 - 2x/3

Now, the slope is -2/3...

Hope this helps you☺

2x+3y=8

2x+3y=83y = -2x + 8

2x+3y=83y = -2x + 8y = -2/3x + 8/3

2x+3y=83y = -2x + 8y = -2/3x + 8/3y = mx + c

y = mx + cm is slope

m = -2/3

or

2x+3y=8

(2)x + (3)y + (-8) = 0

in the form of ax + by + c = 0

m = - a/b

m = - 2/3
