Hola there Say you have two liquids L1 and L2 with specific gravity S1 and S2 respectively. You mix M1 and M2 of the two liquids. Now, our aim is to find out the SG of the mixture.
Since mass/volume=density
So, Density of the overall mixture=(M1+M2)/(M1/D1+M2/D2)
D1 and D2 are the density of the two liquids.
Now divide overall density by the density of water and you get the SG of the mixture.
