Explanation:

the graph of helical spring would be a graph b/w deformation of the spring and the force the graph would be a straight line , to find k we just need to divide (F2-F1) by (L2-L1) of points 1 and 2 where F2 and F1 are forces at points 2 and 1 resp. and L2 and L1 are deformations at points 2 and 1 resp.

1 and 2 are any general points.
