If you want to get the Tan inverse of a number, search for the number in the table, then read the corresponding angle

Remember, the decimal point is only put in the first number in a row, the rest of the numbers in the row should have the same number before the decimal point

For example, the first number in row 1 is 1.192, the number that follows is 196, but it should be read as 1.96. The number that follows is 1.200

Example

Find the Tan inverse of 1.632

Solution

I will look at the first column in the region where we have 1.,

Search for 632

Read the whole number angle on the left and the decimal part at the top

On the left we have 58

At the top we have 0.5

Tan Inverse of 1.632 = 58.5 degrees
