Rational numbers  lie between which two numbers

mahakarora: Can u explain more appropriately?
navyakir: means
raoatchut191: can u explain the question clearly
mahakarora: The question is not clear?
navyakir: like there are -4/7, -7/8,-9/10,5/-7 rational numbers can you tell me that they lie between which two integers or numbers and how did you do tht

to find a rational number between two rational numbers
u just simply take average of those two rational numbers
i.e.a+b/2
-4/7 lies between 0 and -1
-7/8 lies between 0 and -1
-9/10 lies between 0 and -1
-5/7 also lies between 0 and -1
soooo all then given rational numbers lie between 0 and -1

navyakir: but cant get the answer
raoatchut191: ive given it to u in the answer box
ritheesha: find the value of-4/7 ,the value you get will be bet two numbers
navyakir: it becomes a very big process dont you know any shorter method
ritheesha: no
raoatchut191: just find two numbers after decimals so that u can i dentify between which numbers the given number will be
navyakir: really thanks
raoatchut191: pic it as best plssssssssssssss
navyakir: and sry tooo as i had nt recieved your messages and nt read it
raoatchut191: its ok and its my pleasure
