How to find that the reactants and products in a chemical equation are present in solid(s), liquid (l), gaseous (g), aqueous (aq) or precipitate(pt) form?

Well by just looking at the chemical equation is it diffcult to guess the nature of the substance present in he chemical equation.

But in most of the balanced chemical equation it will be mentioned besides the compound like (s) for solid. (l) for liquid and so on,just like you have mentioned in the question.

Example: SO(g) + O2(g) =>SO2(g)

Dont worry you wont be asked to find the state of the compound,instead it.will be given in the question itself.
