if it's 3 sides are given , we can use the heron's formula
semi \\ perimeter = < { a + b + c} > \div 2
here , a , b, and c are length of the sides
then we take out the area by this
area \: of \: triangle=

\sqrt{s < s - a > < s - b > < s - c > }
where s is semiperimeter

Hope this helps

when height is not given we can use herons formula to find the area of the triangle

 \sqrt s(s- a)(s - b)(s - c)
where s=a+b+c/2
