Hiii!!!
Here's ur answer...
U wanna know, how to find the area of shaded region of a square with a circle in it.
First u have to find the area of both the square and circle.
Then after finding area of both square and circle.
Subtract the area of circle from the area of square.
For example :-
A circle is in the centre of square of side 10cm. The radius of the circle is 4cm. Remaining portion of square excluding the circle is the shaded portion.
Now, first area of the square = side²
= 10 × 10
= 100cm²
Area of the circle = πr²
= 3.14 × 4 × 4
= 50.24cm²
Therefore area of the shaded region = 100 - 50.24
= 49.76cm²
Hope u understood how to find the area of shaded portion.
Hope this helps..!!
