Area of triangle without the use of height by the following formula :

  • if it is equilateral triangle then = √3/4 (side)^2
  • if sides are given then by herons formula,s = a+b+c/2

area of triangle = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) ; here a , b & c are three sides of a triangle

  • for isosceles triangle the formula is 1/2 s^2 sintheta
