In the figure..there are 2 rectangles and 2 squares.
so area =(2×Ar.of rectangle)+(2×Ar.of square)
=32+32
64

first find the area of two rectangle and then the two square and then add them
2(8*2)+2(4*4+4*4)
2*16+2*32
32+64
96
