How to find the coefficient of any term in an algebraic expression?

coefficient means the number before the variable.
for eg:-
5 {x }^{2}
in thils 5 is the coefficient.

7.2 {y}^{2}
in this 7.2 is the coefficient.

IF THERE IS NO NUMBER BEFORE THE VARIABLE THEN THE THE COEFFICIENT WILL BE ZERO(0).
