how to find the coordinate of any point on the Cartesian plane

draw perpendicular on x axis from that point that would be y coordinate, draw perpendicular on y axis that would be x coordinate

Heyya!!

Ur answer:-

1) count the units from the x-axis

2) count the units from the y-axis

3) x-axis Congress first then y-axis

4) like shown below in the pic:-


For the point A, there are total 2 units for x-axis and 1 unit from y-axis. Hence (2,1)

Similarly for the point B, -1 from x-axis &1 from y axis hence (-1,1) similarly, for c and D, (2,-2) & (-2,-3) respectively.

I'm not that good at explain, but hope it helps :)
