Let the breadth of the field = x cm ∴ its length = 2x and, its perimeter = 2 x (length + breadth) = 2 x (2x + x) = 2(3x) = 6x cm Perimeter = 60 cm
60 cm = 6x cm
x = 60/6 = 10 cm
Breadth = x cm = 10 cm
Length = 2x cm = 20 cm
