how to find the diagonal of a rectangle if length and breadth is given. for example l is 8cm and b is 6cm find diagonal of rectangle

 \sqrt{ {length}^{2}  +{ breadth}^{2} }  \\  \sqrt{ {6}^{2} +  {8}^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{100 }\\  = 10

digonal squre =length sq. +base sq.
digonal sq. =64+36=100
digonal=10
