SI = 5000 × 4 × 2/100
= 400
Interest for first year = 5000 × 4 × 1/100 = 200
= 5000 + 200 = 5200
Interest for second year = 5200 × 4 × 1/100 = 208
= 5200 + 208 = 5408
CI = 200 + 208 = 408
SI = 400
Difference between SI and CI = 408 - 400 = 8
Ans is rs 8
