how to find the difference in C.I and S.I for P=5000, r= 4% p.a, n= 2years.​

Answer:We know,S.I= 100P×R×T = 1005000×9×2 =900Rs.A=P(1+ 100R ) n =5000(1+ 1009 ) 2 A=Rs. 5940.5C.I.=A−P=5940.5−5000 =940.5Difference=C.I−S.I=940.5−900=40.5 Rs. (thank you Army )

Answer:

SI = 5000 × 4 × 2/100

= 400

Interest for first year = 5000 × 4 × 1/100 = 200

= 5000 + 200 = 5200

Interest for second year = 5200 × 4 × 1/100 = 208

= 5200 + 208 = 5408

CI = 200 + 208 = 408

SI = 400

Difference between SI and CI = 408 - 400 = 8

Ans is rs 8
