Hi ,
*********************************
we know that ,
Slope and y - intercept form:
y = mx + c
where ,
m = slope ,
c = y - intercept
****************************************
Now ,
it is given that ,
m = 3/4 ,
c = -6 ,
Required equation of a line is
y = ( 3/4 ) x + ( -6 )
y = ( 3/4 ) x - 6
or
y = ( 3x - 24 )/4
4y = 3x - 24
3x - 4y - 24 = 0
I hope this helps you.
