how to find the focal length without any calculations

U mean to say for practical or Numericals

leelavathy: eg:object distance is -100 and image distance is +25 in case of convex lens then what is the focal length
kaurgrewal: for mirror or lens
kaurgrewal: by using formula 1÷f=1÷v- 1÷u
kaurgrewal: formula varries for lens and mirror
kaurgrewal: where v is image distance and u is object distance soo.

focal length is always in negative in case of concave and it is positive in case of convex
