We have to construct height of triangle such that known side becomes hypotenuse and then if we know the value of sin or cos theta of given angle we can find the length of height and base as well. We use this concept in finding area of segment of circle. In that we have to subtract area of triangle from area of sector. We are given radius and central angle and we can easily find rest of things.
