You can easily do this by applying Pythagoras Theorem.
Once you a construct a perpendicular line say, BC in a triangle of any lenght, the other two adjacent sides say, AB will be hypotenuse and AC will be the base.
Then you can just put in if the values are known
BC=√(AB²-AC²)
