how to find the length with the perimeter of 40 and 9 meters wide as the width?

hlo gentlemen ..

here u are.

parameter = 40

width= 9 = b

now length = l

so .

40= 2(l+b)

so

20= l+ 9

l= 11

so gentlemen. length will be 11 m .

Perimeter is all sides of an object added...

9 m is width of one side therefore times 2

=    18 m

40  -  18  =  22

22 divide by 2  =  11 m length for 1 side
