how to find the mass of object B using a lever? if object A's density=2.72, and its volume=8cm square. And object B's volume =8cm square.

weight balance actually balances when the two bodies have the same mass. put the two bodies on the two ends of the liver and try to balance the liver on any point so that with two masses the rod remain horizontal. rod should not rotate. now  the point at which the rod get horizontally stable, is the reference point(lets call it P point), now measure the two mass distances from this point of horizontal stability.

now use the equation=============

(mass of A) x (distance of A from the point P) = (mass of B) x (distance of B from point P)

Each side here above is called the MOMENT OF MASS.

density = mass / volume
