to find the atomic no. of any atom. Double its atomic no. then you'll find the atomic weight
Same like that in molecule, atomic weight × no. of atoms in the molecule.
You'll find the weight of that object.

so 6 doubles = 12
12 is the atomic weight of carbon
where in a molecule
12×no. of atoms in the carbon molecule given
