how to find a median class

Ans:-

The median is also the number that is halfway into the set. To find the median, the data should be arranged in order from least to greatest. If there is an even number of items in the data set, then the median is found by taking the mean (average) of the two middlemost numbers.

first add frequency .and suppose the addition of frequency as N .

then do half of N means N/2 .

then relate this ans. with comulitive frequency .

the nearest no. in column of comulitive frequency to the ans. of N/2 is called as comulitive frequency and the class down the comulitive frequency is called as madian class .

Hope this willhelp you.....
